Great Northern Minerals is establishing a new goldfield in Northern Queensland.

North Queensland Golden Ant Project

Great Northern Minerals is developing two gold projects and a  gold/antimony project in North Queensland. Approximately 660 square km of ground holding covering four known gold-antimony trends containing some very high-grade mineralisation. Two of the projects – Golden Cup and Camel Creek, have previously produced significant quantities at high grades. The third is an exciting new Ag-Au-Cu discovery at Douglas Creek with promising results to date.

The company is optimistic of meeting the exploration targets of nearly 600,000 ounces that have been defined at each of Golden Cup and Camel Creek, of that, between 198,000 and 590,000 ounces of gold present within the top 100 vertical metres alone.
