Douglas Creek

Reconnaissance sampling program at the Douglas Creek prospect, located on EPM 27522, part the Golden Ant Project have returned outstanding results of up to 2.0 g/t Au, 84 g/t Ag and 11.0% Cu. The sampling program was designed to follow up highly anomalous BCL Au sampling results from 1988.

The majority of samples returned highly anomalous gold, silver and copper grades from an area of no known historical workings over an area of approximately 900 by 170m

Samples were taken from outcrop and float in an area with no known historical workings. We have followed up these exciting results with a detailed soil sampling program and further rock chip sampling. To date, exploration has defined an Intrusion Related Gold System (IRGS) over 125ha with rock chips of up to 13.9 g/t Au, 598 g/t Ag, 11.0% Cu, 4.7% Pb & 1.8% Bi

An Initial RC drill program of approx. 1,100m planned to test Target Areas One, Two & Four has commenced at the Douglas Creek target. The work is expected to take approximately 2 weeks to complete with assay results anticipated four to six weeks after end of program.

    –Highly soil assays: up to 38.1 ppb Au, 4.0 g/t Ag and 1,023 ppm Cu
    –Exceptionally high rock chips – up to 13.9 g/t Au, 598 g/t Ag, 11.0% Cu, 4.7% Pb & 1.8% Bi
  • Anomalous soil results coincide with rock chips, bolstering these areas as potential drill targets
  • Landholder access agreement has been signed, Native Title clearance activities completed
  • An Initial RC drill program has commenced
